Default Loncin engines

I dont know much about them . My sons bmx mini has a 110cc loncin.I was told they are honda clone engines.I remember those honda mini trail bikes we used to have as kids.We beat the crap out of them! The engines kept on going.I was wondering if the loncin has been around, and punished long enough for bragging rights? Do they hold up?

Default Loncin engines

Loncin has been around for a while and they have millions of motors in various different bikes from mopeds, atv's, dirtbikes and gokarts. I have not read much about engine failure in the 4 yrs of dealing with chinese quads. Most problems are with carbs and electrical. The motors will easily outlast the frame that it sits in. Very durable and will take a beating. Most are clones of the 70.
