Here's what happening down here in Texas. As of Jan 1, 2006 you must have a dealer's license to sell ATV's.
Other states have followed. This came about due the massive amount of consumer complaints to the Attorney
General about warranties and parts availibity. Seems that there were many Chinese junk dealers selling all
over the state, taking the money, ignoring warranty claims and disappearing. So now you've go to have a
physical location and provide parts and service what you sell. If the State of Texas starts getting consumer
complaints on a dealer, they will pull their license and put em out of business. It's already got rid of alot of the
scumbag fast buck artists. The party is over for the trash dealers in Texas. If you say that there is a warranty
and parts are available.....you better be able to back it.

I've suspected this since I saw the recall notice on SLA-90 ATV's that said approximately "144 units". I found mine didn't have a VIN and quickly put 2 and 2 together. There are probably thousands out there that should be under the recall, but will slip through. Does anyone have any idea's what course of action we can take from here?
