Dear God I hope you get this:

Long of the Short, Son's B-day this Sat., no time to send 2004 lt80 to shop, can't get it to run worth a crap. Idles good, starts good, bogs when fed the gas. Sometimes she will wind out and run great untill you let off for say a corner then get back on the gas.....bogs, sometimes it's revvin out and bogs without letting off the gas. When it bogs, it gives off some nasty blue smoke. Compression is over 120, new plug, new wire, new gas, took air filter out, played with choke, checked gas flow, pulled apart the mechanism that controls gas ie, prime, on, reserve, diaphram inside was only half wet??? Though this may be problem, called dealership was told not to waste my money. Do these quads have a fuel filter?? Had a buddy pull apart carb and clean it,,, I only seen him poke out one jet though, I've read quite a few forums that mention two jets and a needle and seat?? Should I go after this animal again.

I'm in a panik now, any assitance would be greatly appreciated.

Default LT80'S HAVE A FUEL FILTER?? HELP ME

I've been told by a few buddies that they think these issues, (listed above), are all electrical. I've been told that it could be the coil or the _ _ _ box?????? Any precidence in these assumptions?? I only have two day's to get it running or my son will be getting a quad for his b-day that he can't ride!!

Ya well, it could be electrical but 10 years of living LT80's tells me that you do the carb first.
Didn't the PM explain about the needle and seat?
LOL I just read your PM.

Default Did you ever figure this out?

I have the exact same issue except for the smoke from the exhaust.

Cleaned and rebuilt carb and changed the reeds and still having the same issue.
