Just bought my little dude a 86 LT50. I was about to buy a Kazuma but stayed away due to all the horror stories. Anyway. This LT50 is incredibly slow. My friend does have a Kazuma 50cc and its speed/power compared to this LT50 is much better. The LT50 is a 2 stroke so I was expecting some type of throttle responce but it take a couple seconds to get going. I cehcked in the exhaust and did not find a restrictor. Is it only the newer LT50's that had restrictors in the intake/exhaust? How can I get a bit better power out of this thing? Can it just be that it is sooo old?
