Default Remote Kill Switch

First I would like to thank everyone on here for all the great information!

We recently purchased a Kazuma 50 from Raceway and my son is having a ball!! The atv has some nice safety features but I would like to add a remote kill switch. I would like to do something inexpensive as this will only be needed for a couple months at most. Would something like this product work?

If so, how would I go about wiring it up? If not, anyone have any other inexpensive ideas?

I think that would work great. I would think that you can wire it to one of the kill switches. It has a relay so it would be wired to activate a kill swiotch when the remote is pressed. You can also call John at Raceway and see if they have anything. Alot of the quads they have already have remote kill but it may be something you can wire up to yours. I would think what you showed would work great.

I was thinking a good spot to wire it in would be on the tether under the gas tank. Can anyone give me a quick switches for dummies tutorial? It looks like these are the connections that are supplied.

If I cut one of the wires going to the tether how would I wire this in?

Can anyone help with some advice on how and where to wire this? My switch should be here tomorrow. See the supplied connections below.

Sounds like you have your problem solution in hand. Just a thought though. Have you thought about a means to communicate with your son while he is riding? Something like a chatterbox etc... That way, you can coach him right in his ear while he rides.....

I'm not really worried about being able to communicate but more so just having another option of shutting him down. He is very new to the sport and is doing great but mistakes will happen. If I can shut him down from within 50 ft or so it would make me feel a little better.

I did get the switch in but still looking for some assistance in wiring it up. I'm not sure what to do with all four wires and don't want to mess anything up. Can anyone help?
