What bill2099 and vbike said! With the single a-arm, the tire and wheel will change camber when the suspension is compressed. With the double a-arm, the tire and wheel will stay perpendicular to the ground no matter what the suspension is doing.

Default Hi Bird

OK, I have about ten hours on my 200 now and since making the brace for the chain tensioner I've had little problems. Never got the front brake switch unstuck so I just unplugged it. Back brake switch works just fine. I'm looking into other dealers for another ATV. Funny what you might find on the BBB web site. Some dealers have no rating and I'm guessing it's because they are doing a good job. I am leaning towards LG Wholesale.

Ride Free,
Doug

Just something I learned today on the 150 automatics. The loud knocking noise that sounds like the engine or tranniy is going to self-destruct is just the front sprocket shaft bearing in the bracket on the right side of the engine. The bracket doesn't keep the bearing aligned very well and wears it out quickly. It's loud because it rings through the bracket. I greased it and that helped but it will need replacing eventually. Doesn't look very hard to replace. Now I know its nothing major and we can keep riding the heck out of it.

I was wondering which dealer is the best dealer to buy parts from for the Hi-birds. I bought it from Anamcycles. I called and left a message. Haven't heard from them yet. We got some bent tie rod ends.

thanks,

Pete

Default Hi Bird

I bouth two Hurricane 250s from motorxtremes. I got them home, assembled them finally got them started with starter fluid. They seem to start and idle fine but they don't have much power. There is not much torque at all through first and third gear and fourth gear is horrible. Do you have any suggestions?
