carb o ring
#1
We have an Eton Viper mini 50 brand new. Riding it around the yard, it just died, we thought hmm out of gas. Nope. Checked out spark plug, was quite a bit grungy, install new one. Nope, spark is good. Checkin out the carb, we take it off, take it apart to clean. Put it back on, still no start. Take it back off, squirted starting fluid directly, started up. OK then, back to the carb inspecting we go. We have a bowl with carb parts in it, out comes a very small o ring. We have no idea where it came from. I was going to download a service manual from Eton, but my computer doesnt do well with Adobe. We tried this o ring in a few different places, couldnt find one where it would fit good. And theres not many places for it to go. Does anyone know what o ring I am talking about and knows where it goes? I'm not going to put it back together til I find out. Since it would start with fluid with the carb off, but wont with it on, what part of this could be the problem??? Help!!!

Ok, after finally getting the page I wanted,I found that the o ring goes underneath one of the jetting screws, got it all back together and its running. I think the float was stuck, bc when we took it out, the little metal flapper was kinda sticky. When we first took off the air filter to get to the carb, one of the 2 screws was missing, which I am sure that may be the cause of some debris getting into carb. But yeah!!!! Now if I can just get that done on our Viper 90.......
