Anyone else getting multiple emails for a reply to a post?
I get between 2 and 6 notifications for 1 reply.

 

Well, the bad news is, I just gave you another email.

The good news is, I can tell you how to stop them.

At the bottom of the page, below the quick reply, you'll see a line that says "Subscribe to this topic and receive email notifications of replies."

Next to it, make sure to uncheck that box.

That will stop the emails.

 

I don't want them to stop, just stop the 6 emails for 1 post reply. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
This has been going on for a cpl weeks. I told them when it was 2. I told them when it was 3,and 4. I come home and it's now 6...

I have seen your emails and I am not sure what to tell you because I don't have the email problem.

I looked at your account and was going to do an experiment and I decided against that when I see that you must be subscribed to every thread you have posted in.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

 

Example: you replied once, I got 2 saying you replied.
This isn't upseting me at all, I just figured there would be more than I with the same problem. In turn, I figured the site amin ppl would like to know of a problem if there is one. LOL

Yes, I subscribe to 99%. It was a cpl years before I even knew I could uncheck the subscribe. By then I was used to it. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
I'll go press delete a score or 2 now. LMAO

I also have the same exact problem. I post alot in the Land and Trail section of ATV Connection and anytime someone responds to my post, I'll get anywhere from 6-9 notifcations on my e-mail that someone has responded to my posts.

Glad to see that im not the ONLY one getting this.

I really wish I had this problem so I could try and fix it or suggest a fix to Dave but I only received one email which was from LT80 after my first post and the software issued the one as its suppose too until I come back and re-read the thread.

Now I did check down at the bottom of the page to make sure it was checked so if you don't want any email make sure its not checked like Scoot pointed out.

Anyways on my end everything works on the email server when sending mail to my screen name.

 

Now isnt this funny, I just got an e-mail notification from Raptorfn66r, and it only showed it ONCE in my e-mail. Everytime I get something from Blackballed in the Land and Trail section, I get the same numerous notifications about 6-9 times for the same email.

Also, I have broadband and this site is VERY slow for me.
