Best, and most legal thing to do, would be consult a dealer/repair shop.

But, you gonna get more than one reply that will probably upset you. Don't be offended, but your first post is asking how to bypass a system that would help prevent a theft. Also, not having the key fob thing, and not needing it don't help the case.
Far to many of us have had, or have had someone attempt to take a quad (or two). And the first thing you'd need to know about one like that is how to get it started.
If you accept the fact some my be skeptical, and find a legal solution, you'll find that other questions will be answered quite readily on this site.

Well I'm looking at this more from kid control thing where you can kill it if the young driver gets in trouble or if you don't want your untrained youngster riding alone. Besides if I wanted to steal it I would just pick it up and walk off!!!
How about I ask for a wiring diagram and pin out list for the CDI box or how does one test a CDI box. The dealers I have talked to don't have/will not give this infromation. Thanks for the help JK

Which is the part I don't need, My kiddos do not fit in that group.
Can anyone tell me how to check a CDI other than just replacing it. Thanks JK

Ok, it's sounds like you just want to add a kill switch.
Possibly one with a remote?
I know some of the smaller Chinese quads have this feature as standard.
You might want to give Raceway a call and see if they sell just they kill switch system.
You should also be able to find a kill switch at the dealer. But not knowing the model you have, can't really tell you which one to go to.
