Default modify lt 80

my 2 older kids ride lt 80's. I want to modify their quads for more power. We ride mainly in glamis. Right now they are bone stock. Where do I start?

Start with safety! Widen that thing out a little first. DO NOT use spacers up front. Front needs to be done with extenders or longer A-arms. Spacers are fine in the rear. Next I would move on to tires and gearing - huge difference. Then clutches. If after that your still ambitious and not broke, move onto the motor.

I have parts available and a lot of resources. Email me if you need to. abcdhyatt@verizon.net

Start with finding a motor builder that not only does the motor but the clutchs too. They have to work together.
I have quite a few of motors in the sand. They love em.

What extenders or longer A-arms do you recommend?

ATV Racing arms.

I'd l;ike to know why extenders are better than spacers. Both put more stress on the hub...
I think both are fine.
