Kolpin 90
#1
I was wondering if the Kolpin kids atv's are still made. I see Gander Mountian has a few in stock but not sure if they are left over's. The reason for my question is I can not find any information on the Kolpin web-site or any other sites? Any reviews on 90cc would be appreciated!
Thanks

Kolpins are made by Unison. www.unison-atv.com If they are 2 strokes, they are left over 2006's. All the new Unisons & Kolpins are 4 strokes, because the 2 strokes aren't allowed to be imported anymore with the new EPA rules in place.

I know that the new Kolpins are not made by Unison, but made by Hsun, the same company that the redcat 50cc,70cc,90cc,110cc,150cc are made.I import atv's from Hsun, and speak to a salesperson from Hsun weekly on MSN,and when he heard I was from Wisconsin,he told me that they were just finishing a large order for Koplin. Also,if you look at the new 90cc models, the totally resemble the redcat 90's,except for the nose piece. Also,You should be able to get a redcat 90cc,sport or utility, for quit a bit less than the Koplin's.As for a review,I have sold them, and I think they are built very well,My daughter got A pink 90cc from Santa last year, and it has been GREAT!Semi automatic,so the speed can be limited low,but the machine will still climb, unlike a fully auto machine.I LIKE THE FOOT BRAKE ALSO! A VERY SOLID MACHINE.TWO thing's I do not like is there is no key switch, just a on/off switch on the left side controls, and if the switch is left on,the battery goes dead,THE 2nd. thing I do not like is...When the battery is dead, the seat must be UNBOLTED TO ACCESS THE BATTERY.Please...any other questions,PLEASE ASK!!

The old ones, the 2 stroke models were Unisons, they must have changed to get 4 strokes as Unison just 2 weeks ago FINALLY got their 4 stroke models in after nearly 7 months of dealers waiting. The only thing I can say if they are HSUN (same as Redcats) be sure you can get parts, because Redcats part department has gone to poop since Tank took them over Jan 1 of this year. Overall they are built nice, just hope you never need a part. I agree with Jimi, the only things that need real attention is exactly what he has stated, other than that built very well & if you have a parts supply for them it is a great deal. The only way we get Redcat parts is to buy machines & strip them down to sell parts..... it works, but not a very good way to get parts.

I ALSO TOTALLY AGREE WITH SPLIFFY ABOUT PARTS! Before tank took over and screwed-up the Red Cat parts department, they had an AWESOME PARTS DEPARTMENT,YOU WOULD ACTUALLY ALWAYS SPEAK TO A PERSON!!NOW...good luck,My salesman said he would check on A warranty part, and A customer pay part and call me the next day,at the latest...that was tuesday,NO CALL-NO E-MAIL-NO PART.No one should have to call twice on parts,I realise they are probally busy, but arent we all!
