lt 80 noise
#1
I just put a new top end and a trinity pipe on a lt80. I remove 3 roller in the clutch. Today is the first day we got to ride it hard after the break in. I'm wondering if the noise is from the clutch. Is it from having 3 roller in the clutch. What if i put a roller back in ,how much difference does it make?

You removing the roller weights should not have caused any abnormal noise than it had before removal. What kind of noise? Then again, removing 3 rollers would make the bike rev alot higher. belt whine possibly?

I agree, no noise from the rollers.
Adding the 4th roller will make it bog on take-off.
I'm thinking it's the piston. (Weisco right?) They slap around a lil.

The noise come from apart high low end through the midrange and just a little on the low of the top end. I'm going to look at the belt and the front clutch. See if put it together wrong.
