Default motor swap for baja 150

I have a baja 150 with a blown motor and anyone who has ridden one of these knows that the 150 isnt enough power anyways i would like to put a new motor from something with more power like a 250-400cc anyone know of what might fit with little modifacation?

I highly doubt the chassis and suspension will support the speed and torque from a bigger engine.
I would look into rebuilding your current engine or use an ebay honda 110 engine and slap on a big bore kit and cam/valvekit etc.

With the Hibird 200 at 899. you would be better off buying one of these rather then adding more HP to your 150.

I'd say if you were into this sort of thing buy a 150 gy6 off of ebay and a 190cc overbore kit and big valve head, new cdi etc. and check out buggy news for info and you know it will all fit and bolt up and be faster.
However the problem isnt the size of the motor its the stupid cvt transmission.

the 4 wheeler you got looks like it has a moped or scooter engine in it.
it is going to be allot more work to put something in there.

if you realy wanted to put something else in there. and fab up all new mounts,a air cooled 2 stroke would be good like one out of a yamha blaster or a old early 80's honda ATC 250r

if you had a regular honda clone chinese 4 wheeler you could just bolt rite in a honda 200X 3 wheeler engine and have a ripper.

you're correct, the 150's are gy6 honda clones that was designed in the mid 80's for the honda reflex motorscooter, the water cooled 250 automatics are also from mid 80's and were designed for the honda helix motorscooter. they should have kept them in motorscooters,
