What is wrong with it when you take it in? Carb issues?

Do you have any idea how many time i heard the same thing working for Yamaha and Arctic cat....
Chances are it's just a simple tuning issue.
Where did you buy it?
normally a dealer will set up and tune the carb for best performance etc if the pilot circuit is set too leak or if there is a minor air leak it can be hard to start. Some of the cheaper dealers just take them out of the crates and sell them with out ever starting them up or tuning it or checking torque specs or anything

Start buy backing the mixture screw out 1/2 turn and go buy an iridium plug for it.
