E-TON 70cc VS. DDR DRX 70cc?
#1
Buying my son (7) a mini for the holiday...just not sure what to go with as I have no experience in the ATV world. Thinking E-TON 70cc 2-stroke ($1450 to the door) or DDR DRX 70cc. We have a track just minites away...so will probably get involved, althought not a very comptitive track. Also have a very aggressive and large 4 y/o...so it would nice if this could work for him as well.,. a least sometime in the near future. Don't want to break the bank...I know there are tons of choices...accepting any other suggestions and feedback on these two machines in particular.

That price for the Eton is good. I take it is a left over 2-stroke or is it used?
We just bought my 6yr old an 07 DRR DRX watercooled 50 with intentions to upgrade it to a 70 when he moves up classes next year. It is 44" wide and way stable with the best stock shocks I have seen on a mini. I bought it set up for racing and paid right around $2600 OTD. Where do U live? I know of 2 great dealers/distributors one in Washington and one in Florida. Plus there are tons of dealers nationwide.
Last year we ran a Kymco Mongoose 2-stroke 50 for our first year racing and after putting close to an extra $1000 into it, I decided it was time to make the switch and the Kymco couldn't even compete with the new DRR. Pretty much all the kids around here in the Northwest are running DRR's and alot of that has to do with the local customer service that is provided to us, plenty parts available.
Here are a couple pics of our DRR, if U have any ques. PM me
