Default 05 preditor 50 engine rebuild questions

Ok, Im sure Ill leave a few things out but here goes.
Mods-70cc kit
drilled out exhuast
oil injector eliminated, currently run at 32:1
different front sprocket for more top end

Problem---hole in cylinder about the size of a dime a lots of shavings in the case. I have the entire motor out but havent split the case because Im wondering if I did something wrong when installing the 70cc kit. My 7 yr old was riding it in the sand dunes and it just stopped running. I could get it restarted a few times and then finally it quit for good. I installed the 70 kit after a light sieze from the stock rings.

I would like to find someone locally to me in So. Cal. (Orange County) but if everyone recommends someone exclusively I would ship it off and have it rebuilt.
Hopefully the crank is still good but it does
needs to be split to get all the shavings out, it turns freely now.
I know its hard to give a $ w/o looking at something but does somebody have a ballpark $ on what it might cost? Thanks, Ryan ryantparks@***.net
