Help choosing ATV for my son
I bought a TRX 90 for my son when he was 7 as well. He did fit it, but in your situation, you might want to look into an LT80. They are a little smaller and no shifting. This way the younger ones can enjoy it that much faster. For what it is worth, I really liked the e-ton 70 and 90 cc quads. They are likewise a bit smaller in the frame so the smaller kids fit them well. They are capable and fairly durable from what I have seen. I would have bought one, but found a used Honda for just to good of a deal to pass on.

Wow! Thanks for the ebay prices. I have stayed at work late tonight and done some research. Here are the five brands I am considering with the models and MSRP for each:
o Honda TRV-90 $2799 for 08 $2750 for 07
o Polaris Outlaw 90 $2499.00
o Polaris Outlaw 50 $1999.00
o Suzuki Quadsport Z90 $2499
o Suzuki Quadsport Z50 $1899
o Yamaha Raptor 80 $2599
o Yamaha Raptor 50 $2199 -
o Kawasaki KFX 50 $1749
o Kawasaki KFX 90 $2149
Looks like the Kawasaki is the most inexpensive. On this forum people make out that the name brands are a lot more expensive than I have discovered.

If you haven't already you should checkout the DRX 50, 70, or 90. They are made by a company called DRR. Just ordered my 5 year old the 50. He is currently riding a predator 50. Suspension on the predator is terrible. The DRX's have been cleaning up in the WORCS racing series. This website has some good photos and info. koolkidzatv.com Good Luck

If your son really wants to ride, DO NOT get him a chiney machine.
If you think your son might not keep in it, you should still get something reputable, your resale will be worth it.
NO! THEY ARE KNOWN 4 BEING UN-RELIABLE. anybody who tells you otherwise, is smokin' crack.
from another concerned fasha to anosha,....zeeks...lol

Try looking for used ones.
That way you can get the name brand if you want it.
If its going to go through 8 kids, its gunna get beat up, so you may not want it to look real good once you first get it.
At least that was how i reasoned in buying my first motorcycle, get a used one that i can beat up on and learn on, but a good brand so that it will be reliable.
Then once i have either broke it beyond repair of my garage, or grew out of it, i can buy a brand new one that hopefully wont get too damaged.
Although when buying used, you will need to do a little more maintenance than buying a brand new one.
Just a suggestion
Good Luck!
