It's a CVT. That isn't supposed to happen.

Constant variable transmission...ie: belt driven. If it goes when the motor is cranked over something is wrong.

 

I'll see what I can do. I live in north Dakota but when I get back to Oregon next year I'll see what it needs, I'm 14 and too big for it so that probably has something to do with it. Thanks for the info, I'll tell Ya how it goes when I tear it apart. We would send it in to the shop but the shop guys said it would cost more than what the bikes worth.
