300 cc utility
I am not positive about the motor. but I think its a Yamaha knock off . It says Loncin on the side of it. I havent rode the bike that much only put it together tightened the bolts etc on it since its my wifes now and I am not allowed on it LOL . She is thrilled with it . I know its got more get up and go than my 250 cc utility Vbike and has a lot more speed. The 250 has a 5 speed and the 300 a 4 speed. I like the idea of reverse down on the 300 where the 250 has a lever at the left side of the fuel tank to switch reverse. Its working my 250 to keep up with the wife on hers . In 1st,2nd.3rd it has plenty of power to get speed up. The engine has more of a buzzing sound than the 250 but I think thats all in the exhaust system. The draw back on the 300 is no storage area for small tools , air compressor etc. what ever you think you should need to really get far back in the hills off a main road and feel safe. There is a winch mount on the front under the cowling but a poor one at that.
The instrument cluster is rather funky but serves its purpose. It comes on in KPH and one has to punch a button to get to MPH but if you shut the engine off it comes back on in KPH all the time .
This is more info. than requested but I thought I would add it for someone wanting to know more about the 300 monster since I got a phone call from someone tonight asking my opinion of it
