If you have nothing going to the CDI, then it would have to be the Stator or the left hand kill switch..... Something you can do is on the CDI, there should be 5 wires, 2 on top & 3 on the bottom, take the lead out on the bottom in the middle position, most likely black or black with white wire, this is your spark kill, this will tell you if its a stator problem or if its a kill switch problem, check for spark after you take this out & if still nothing, replace your stator... if you do have spark, stator is doing the right thing & most likely it has to be the left hand kill switch..... if you have no power going to the CDI like you said. Hopefully this helps.

THIS HELPED ME OUT. Thank you so much. I thought the ignition coil or stator were the ones not working. I unplugged that black/white wire and it started right up. I got a spark. Thanks!
