Default The Vbike Arrived

I was expecting two ATVs yesterday but the truck only had one on it, bummer. I will go to the shipping companies terminal and pick up the other today.

I started assembling the Vbike, topped off the battery charge, and made a pot of coffee. Everything went well. I loctited everything as it went together. I went to fire it up but it would not turn over. Silly me, I neeeded to pull the clutch lever in. It cranked over and pop, pop, it fired up.

Still need to figure out the light wiring because I have no headlight, taillight, or brake light. I seem to recall others having had this issue also.

Also I have no rear brakes, I will try bleeding the system first befor I call Tim. The fan runs all the time, don't know if it is supposed to do that.

I took it for a spin, man this thing is fun! I posted some pictures, they should be up before long.

Hey , on the light thing you might check the contacts in the switch on the grips. I picked mine up in person at Vbike and they did the "assembly " at least to get it going and put it in the pickup. But the lights didnt work but only to "flash" the headlights. The guy in the shop took the switch apart and messed with the contacts then they worked but one light was dim and one bright. Tim messed with the plug behind the light and it came on bright then.
Its raining today and looks like all weekend and no shop to put it in so its sitting still in the back of the pick up . I got to tighten up a bunch of screws and bolts and change the oil. About the only thing I have against it right now is the way body pieces fit (250cc utility in Camo. But, I think with some tinkering and adjusting that can be remedied real quick

I had the same problem with one of my vbikes headlights and tail lights. Before I would take anything apart I would check the connection where the blue, green, and white wire plug into the main wiring harness. One of the male ends was bent to the side on mine. When I straightened it up and plugged it back in all lights worked fine. Also check the two wires under the front brake lever. My brake lights wouldn't work with the front brake and thats what I found to be the problem.

Hi everyone, I found the connector terminal pins bent in three of the connectors. I bent them straight, plugged them in and then the lights worked. The brake light just required an adjustment at the switch. The brake lever was not pulling it down far enough.

Little by little, the bugs are going away. Well I just picked up the 150 Sport utility today. Now I get to back to the garage and put it together. I'll take pictures of it to.

Thanks for the input everyone. This forum is great.

Hey kczukiman, I noticed in your pics that you have your front shocks mounted in the lower bolt holes on the Vbike 250. That obviously lowers the front. Do you prefer it that way for handling?

It looks like your Roketa 150 is a little bigger overall that the Vbike. My wifes 150 from Vbike is very similar to yours. It to is larger overall than My 250.
