I am looking for performance upgrades for my son's currently rediculously slow DS90X.
1) What upgrades are available?
2) WHere can they be found?

Thanks a ton in advance!!

I remember seeing something in one of the flyers that I have. I believe it is either Hetrick racing or Rath racing that is developing aftermarket parts for your quad. I heard that they are fairly slow stock, but believe me there are things that a person can do to fix that.

Expect to pay at least a thousand dollars on parts alone if you want a big difference. Worth it? My son loves to smoke stock 90's in the dunes or desert. keep in mind, you will lose some dependability. I personally have parts from Hetrick and they have good customer service, but not crazy about the 400 dollar port and polished 54mm head. My 54 airsal head worked much better for some reason and I sent the hetrick head/cylinder back to Rich and he said there was nothing wrong. The piston they use is from Taiwan and I had ordered 2 pistons another 200 bucks and neither worked. Just my experience. I would try WRH racing too.

Clutch, pipe "were" in at some shops and the cdi is coming towards the end of the month. I am not aware of other mods yet.

PM me for where I have them on order as I am not sure they are a sponsor on this site.

Go to maximumrpm to buy the parts for the DS90X. They supply hetrick from what I was told. I purchased all my upgrades for my sons 90X from Maximumrpm and am extremely satisfied. Just an fyi, replacing the stock exhaust is a pain in the A$$.
