This post is designed for Vbike owners to post what they did with their Vbike today.

I ride a V4S.

I tightened up all the bolts and screws in preparation for my next ride...or my kids' next ride.

I had to adjust the steering as well. One tire was point straight forward and the other was just a little off.

We had a great family ride on it last week - kids, mom, dad, and grandparents.

My V4S got to sleep all day under his cover. Had to paint inside the house, part of the honey do list.

I plan on some great family fun like you had Adventure, in the mountains when all the snow melts off.

I took off a half day of work to ride with my 3 daughters who are on Spring Break. The weather was excellent...finally (sunny and 60 degrees).

I rode my V4S up hills, jumped it, rode it over rocks, and through the mud. I loved the way it performed.

My 13 year old prefers the V4S to the '91 Honda 250. However, my 16 year old prefers the ride of the Honda over the V4S. The V4S seems to be more powerful, especially when comparing the motor sound.

My V4S is a bit stiff. I need to adjust the suspension.

My battery appears to be weakening as it won't turn the engine over very strongly each time - some times not at all. However, the battery will turn the lights on.

While riding today the starter button quit working. I could push start the V4S. I didn't have a screw driver with me to take the headlight cover off to check the wiring. However, I could here a little sizzling under there one time when I pushed the starter button...I'm a bit nervous to see what happened when I get time to dig into it. The timing of this couldn't have been worse: (1) my daughters aren't that good with the clutch yet; and (2) a friend came out to check out the bike to see if he wants to buy one.

Also today, I noticed the shifting was a bit fussy - not as smooth as before. I think I need to change the oil again (for the second time since I've owned the bike).

Glad to hear you got to get out with your bike.Sounds like it was a good time all and all.Sorry to hear about the starter problem I hope its easy to resolve. One thing that I read I think from buyingchina was to change the wire from the battery to the stater with heavier guage. The small stock wire dosn't hold the amps very well. That is something I have to do as well.
The wife and I are going out Saturday for our first outing of the year.I hope that I have coverd all of my preventitive mantaince issues. time will tell.
Did you get any video? We plan to take some vids.

No video, I forgot the camera.

I have not learned how to add video or pictures to a posting yet.

Good luck on your maiden voyage.

Sounds like it handled good on that kind of terrain. The mountains here have fairly rocky trails but think the V4S will do well.

Let us know what you find with your starter button. If you are using standard engine oil the friction modifiers in it could be causing your wet clutch some issues. When my engine is fully broke in I am going to switch my oil from valvaline 10w40 to the Honda brand oil that does not contain those friction modifiers. This oil is designed for four stroke engines with a wet clutch system like the V4S has.

Ive tinkerd on it until I blue in the face.It just wants to be riden.I am spending the day doing some mods on the hibird duel sport.I removed the childish looking flames off of the side covers and preping them to paint black instead of white.
I guess its a contest between colorado to see who gets out first.
