If you look at the right side of the machine (Right side if sitting on it) you will see a group of wires wrapped together coming off the block follow them up right under the steering stem near the gas tank. There will be a white plug that holds three wires which are your 12v supply for lights, and there will be two other wires a Black with Red stripe and White with Blue stripe. You can also check the wires right at the CDI box which is under the right fender on the frame. The wires are the same color there. For the coil not showing an resistence that might be the problem but check everything so you don't waste money or time.
