Default GIO 50CC Oil Plug Question

I accidentally removed the wrong oil plug to drain the oil from my son's Gio 50cc. The one I removed came out with a spring and a cylinder with some holes in it. My problem is that I didn't see how it came out so I don't know how to put it back in. Does the spring go in first or the cylinder? Please help!

Default GIO 50CC Oil Plug Question

Thanks chineseatvmechanic. One other question - the cylinder has one end with a black plastic plug and the other end has a recess with what looks like a small ball bearing seated down inside it. Which end is inserted first?
