LT 80 help again!
#1
Posted a while back about not being able to get the LT80 to sart, discivered low compression. Now had a 51.50mm bore with a Wiseco piston, new gaskets. Still will not start. Been into the carb a number of times and looks good, still will not start, has gas to the carb and spark. What am I doing wrong? Can these carbs go bad? Help please!

2 stroke, since my previous post I pulled the plug and gave it a small drink, fired right off then died. No gas from carb to motor, kit and Boyseen reeds, just before bore. Could it be a reed problem?

Also, I have a cap/plug for the oil injection. If I remove the injection assembly and the plastic plug with the gear, is this all I need to do or are there internal parts that need to be removed?

A cpl things to try::
try a cpl drops of oil in the plug hole to bring the compression up. The rings are not seated and thus possibly not enough pull to get the fuel in.
Put your fingers in front of the carb to hand choke it.
Shouldn't be a reed problem.
The carbs can go bad, but is rare.
oil inj:: you must take the clutch cover off and remove the lil black plastic piece off the end of the crankshaft. That's what runs the pump.

Got it up and running. Thanks LT80. Any suggestions on proper break in and/or seating the rings. Also, injection unti and plastic rod with the gear, anything else need to come out. Already have a block off plate.
