Update- have had to tighten the chain. It began to rub slightly on the lower chain/sprocket guard. Other than that no problems yet besides the quality of the camo paint. The paint job on the plastic is very poor. Peels very easily and a little gas splash will take it right off.
My daughter is new to riding so I am sure she is being much gentler than many kids who have been riding for a while. Maybe it would not be able to handle rough riding although it has hauled me around.
I check all the bolts after each ride and none have worked loose. I also think they may have upgraded to better batteries. I had read that alot were having their batteries die within a couple of days- this one is a sealed, maintenance free one.

I'm not quite able to give them the GLOWING review that magbolt did, but other than the battery, I really haven't had any issues either. Mine is a 2006, and I've had to replace the battery 2 times (am installing a connector this week to prolong the battery's life when not in use). The kids really enjoy it and it does scoot!
