hi all [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] duno if any 1 can help but ive been looking on the net for days now and carnt find much, ive got a malaguti rcx12 for my lad the problem is is last summer it got harder and harder to start until it wouldent start at all so its been in the shed all winter till now so i thought id have a look [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] . so this is what ive found out...
its a solid state ignition 50cc ive reset the distance between the coil and magneto ive disconnected the kill switch wire and got a new spark plug the magneto is strong, so i put a screwdriver up where the plug goes and kicked it over and i get a small pulse but not enough to jump the spark, i think its all pointing to the coil, but is there anything else i could try ??
