Hello seem like a verry nice forum! I'm not sure if it has an oil cooler or not but, I don't think it does. all I know is it has a clutch 4 speed + reverse air cooled, chain driven one cylinder etc. I guess I will pick up one quart of oil and se how well that fills it. Thanks verry much!

P5200,
If you have a TaoTao250D then it should state TAOTAO on the side of the Carb.
If you need a new one you should be able to contact their warehouse in Dallas at
http://www.taotao.us/
They may not sell directly to the public so they can get you the name of a seller in your area you can order from. But you want to make sure you have the correct machine. Can you post some pics of your bike and we can likely tell you.

Hi, I used almost a full quart of oil and the carb. has the choke plate missing inside, no linkage comming out of it to hook the choke cable to so I have no choke also, I think where the linkage came out of the carb, someone just screwed a bolt in there to close the hole off. also there was another scred sticking out which looks like a coarse thread meatal screw and the threads are messed up now I assume. I left that screw out but doesn't suck air or leak gas? I think a real genious got ahold of this thing lol!

The follwoing is a link to a place that sells chinese parts. (TaoTao, ect...)
I don't know anything about them and I didn't see any 250 parts listed, I dont know how many of the part from the 150's cn be used on the 250's.
I think if you go with a local seller you can likely get the parts a little cheaper
http://www.highrpmracer.com/ch...v-parts-c-145_187.html
If I could find an after market or name brand part that would work Iwould likely us that instead.
