Default Replacing Clutch cable

Well i had a problem the bike tipped over and it bent the clutch handle and needs to be replaced but as i took off the clutch cable and trying to but it back like it was i struggled and 2 wires got cut off trying to put it back. Can someone let me know how to put it back and tighten it all back together or the proper way to remove and install a new clutch cable.

Thanks in Advance

When you say two wires do you mean two of the twisted cables within the clutch cable?

Yes you would need to lose the adjuster on the side of the motor but I'm afraid if the cable has fraid a couple wires you are going to need to have that end lead thing replace by a pro cable guy or buy a new cable.

To remove the sproket you remove the left wheel and hub, then remove the two locking nuts on the axle near the sprocket. after that is all removed the sprocket and sprocket hub will come off. ***********Replace the bolts on the sprocket, the factory bolts will eventually come lose and break. See my Repair Page on my site!***************

Ya, I have been a bit busy, now running a used PC round up drive for children in the Foster Care system here in SLC.

No, the axle will not come off just the Sprocket hub! Heres a pic:

Once the two big lock nuts are removed the hub will slide off that same side! Loc tight the bolts or use longer bolts and a nut on the other side!

I'm not sure what the model of the Uni is, all I know is it is a real tight fit on the carb! I do feel much more confident in it then the Jet filter. Perhaps if I had it last year my Red 250 would not be burning oil!?

Well thanks for the info i think i found a UNI but not sure which to get can you do me a favor and check the Inner diameter of the UNI. Cause the Outside Diameter of carb is about 1.75 inches and im not sure if i should get the UNI that has a Inside DIA of 1.75 or 2 inches? Can you measure your Inside Dia so i can figure out which one you have. Thanks
