Default lt80 battery, and wheels

Hi, I have a 2000 lt 80 stock except the brass peice removed from carb. I ordered from ebay, spacers to widen it 2.5" on each side 5 inch total front and rear, My battery needs replaced, anyone know where i can get that sized battery for reasonable price? Also, I've tried looking for 19x7-8 tires like are on it, but can't find them anywhere? Can someone tell me where i can get like set of holeshots, or anything to fit, even if i have to buy rims, I don't know much about this bike, nor all the mumbo jumbo tire stuff. I know there has to be something as i see the bike in magazines with kids racing them with the lower profile rear tires.....I just don't know what to look for. BTW, I know I exceed the weight limit, my daughter i get every other weekend so she doesn't know i have it yet, but i had my neighbor clock me with my dog on leash running next to me, he said 25mph, that was fast as i could go with my dog keeping up. and I'm 6'3" 230. I believe i had half throttle left to go, is it possilbe this thing runs 40mph?

16x6.5x8 Carlisle holeshots. That will lower the center of gravity but may need a tooth bigger front sprocket (11 tooth blaster sprocket). I'd prolly try to get 18x6.5x8's and leave the gearing alone.
I like a simple knobby tires.
I personally don't like the holeshot tires (too stiff) but that's just me.

For batteries, go to www.motorcyclebatteriesusa.com[/L] Get a good sealed battery. I know they are expensive, but you will be happier that the ATV starts when you want it too. I have had to replace all of my chinese batteries with better quality bought from this website with no more problems.

For tires, go to null or null Both of these sites allow you to search tires available by size. I have not seen any other tires in that size either, but there are a lot of options. For chinese tires check out this site null

And yes, it is possible that your ATV could run up to near 40 mph. That is why you do not want to put bigger tires on the back. It will just speed it up. After some of the problems I have had with A arm nuts backing off, I would not want my kids going 40 on it.

A stock lt80 will not hit 40 mph. I think it will do around 25 mph stock. so you are right on with speed. I have one setting up for my son. I ride it until he is ready for it. it has a moore motor( race build) and Im 300lbs next to a car I run 36mph.
