What is the smallest 4WD ATV?

Funny thing is, I don't think the answer has changed much. 400cc is about the smallest displacement for a 4x4 quad now. CF Moto makes a 400cc 4x4 utility which is probably the least expensive 4x4 quad you can buy. The Arctic Cat Alterra 450 4x4 might be the smallest in dimensions though and is pretty close to the same price. I actually like the idea of a 400-450cc class 4x4 that is physically smaller than the bigger utility quads. A smaller machine that is more nimble, lighter, and fits easily in shortbed pickup truck bed or even in a smaller truck bed like a Toyota Tacoma or Chevy Colorado. The Alterra 450 is plenty peppy enough and gets up to a decent top speed of around close to 55 mph I believe. I've seen a review of the CF Moto 400 on Dirt Trax TV and they commented on how sluggish it was. I think its more to do with the cvt clutching than the engine though. CF Moto has a 500 that doesn't cost a lot more though. I'd rather have the Alterra 450 anyway. I'm still not sold on CF Moto reliability but I think they do include a free extended warranty on most models.
