Ive got a John Deere 650 that I changed the oil on yesterday. Now the first oil change went good and everything looked normal. That was at about 50 miles. Now its got about 150 miles on it and when I pulled the oil drain plug there was a good amount of metal shavings on it. Now I realize the drain plug is magnetic and the shavings are supposed to stick to the plug, by why is there shavings at all after only 150 miles. Should I be looking at moving this quad down the road or what? Thanks for any help everyone.
