Default 2008 gio beast

i bought a new gio beast 200 cc it worked good for about 15 mins i put it in rev backedup want to put it in frist and now it won't come out of rev does any one no what went wrong or if i missed something i took it out of the box put it togeter put gas in it and put new oil in it it started nice warmed it up i want for a ride now it won't go in gear any help would be good

I did a little research and i'm assuming you have a foot shifter. (correct me if i'm wrong, i might be looking at the wrong model). First thing is first. Double check to make sure that you have an adequate amount of oil in the motor, this can cause problems with shifting if it's seriously low. Next, check to make sure that your clutch is properly engaging and disengaging. If the bike is currently still stuck in reverse then, with the bike not running, you can try rocking the bike forward and backward 2 or 3 times and then clutch it and try to shift into a different gear.

ok thx i am going to try it and yes it's a foot shifter i will let you know if that was it
