Default Vacuum fuel pump feeding of a 107cc engine possible???

hello all!

I'm using a 107cc (e-start, auto) engine out of a no-name quad for a robotic vehicle application and no longer have the fuel tank above. I cannot use gravity.

Is is possible to feed gas from a tank that is NEXT to the engine, using a Mikuni vacuum (diaphragm) fuel pump?

Which port (crank vent?) would I use to supply the pressure / pulses to make the pump "pump?"

any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

thanks in advance,

Gene S.

I can't remember on exactly what atv but something I was working on had the hose hooked to a port between the carb and the head. It might have been a 125 Suzuki.

Something else to try maybe would be a snowmobile fuel pump, they are small & relatively inexpensive.
