Default Redcat VX 200-- Crossing my fingers!

Hello all. This forum could save me some serious headaches. I just bought a 2006 Redcat VX 200 from a man for $200. His boy had broken the start button on the handlebars. According to him, this is all that is wrong with it. He said that the boy then lost interest after trying to take it apart. So I bought a battery at Walmart and ordered a new starter button assembly which should be in tomorrow. If all goes well we will be riding this week. My situation: I know next to nothing about atvs and motorcycles. My previous experience is in go-carts and mini-bikes. This thing did not come with a manual. I need to know what kind of oil goes in it, gear box lube, general maintenance so we don't ruin it. Does anyone know if there is an owner's manual online I can look at?

I appreciate any advice you can give me about this ATV. Thank you.

Thank you very much. I have another question. We got the new battery and put it in, the kids were very excited to see if it would go. Nothing. No lights, nothing. Is there a fuse block on this thing? I could not spot one. The battery is brand new and good but there is no power getting to the machine. Any ideas? There is one inline fuse coming off the hotwire on the battery but it is good.

Ya I will try that when I can get home in time for daylight. I just wondered if there was an actual fuse block on these things.

Well, I got the thing running. Turned out to be a dead ignition switch. Now i need to get the brakes in order and I am good to go. Parts are hard to find, even online. Is this a clone of a brand name atv? if someone could tell me which one I might be able to get parts that would work for it. Thanks.
