Default Who makes what

Our 2006 Arctic Cat DVX50 is made by Kymco (and a very good quad indeed), and I believe the AC 90 and the new AC 150 are made by Kymco as well. We also bought a 2007 Eton Vector 250, and the (then Bombardier) guys told me their DS250 was essentially an Eton 250, except that the features on the Eton were much better and I believe the Eton has more useable power as well. (I don't know why - maybe it's the carb they put on the Bombardier DS250, but I have heard elsewhere that it lacks power. My Eton certainly does not.)

I believe that the AC machines made by Kymco are better than the Etons, which is why our next purchase for my daughter (once we sell her AC DVX50) will be the AC 150. We have had electrical problems with both our Eton 250 and our '07 Eton Viper 90R 4-stroke. They all have reverse, but my guess is that the electric shift mechanism on the Etons is not very reliable, whereas I believe the shifter on the AC 150 is mechanical and thus probably less prone to breakdowns.

Not sure about the Eton vs Kymco, but the SYM vs Kymco goes to Kymco hands down. Plus, Kymco sells a lot more upgrade parts for theirs.
