Apex pipe on Eton?
#2
I have a APEX Pipe on my sons 2003 90 ETON. I was able to trim the battery box some and still use the battery in the stock location. I am fixing to put a DRR pipe on my other sons ETON 50. I hope it works as well as the APEX pipe did.

That is great news..Are you saying the pipe was pretty much a direct bolt on?..I was expecting to have to do some tweaking at the very least..Keeping the battery box would be a huge bonus..Do you have any pics you could send me?

I bought a hetrick pipe of some guy on ebay....He said it was for the eton 90 and many other minis told me for sure it would fit...and it did but had to remove my battery box altogether in order for it to fit right. The places you will be having problems would be the battery and the rear shock....those are the tight areas!
I didnt like having the whole battery thing gone ....but.... my son loves it way better as a kick start as do i .

No fab work ! Just with the rear silencer hanger ...had to adjust with longer bolt and spacer. It did look like the person who had the pipe before me cut the head pipe were it slips into the exhaust flange to clear the frame.
