Exclamation Need some help with a kids quad.

Well with Christmas time coming on quick, and my 4 year old turning into a motorhead, I think a ATV is in his future. For starters he's a 4 year old built like a 6 or 7 year old. He's about 4 ft tall and weight close to 45lbs. I'd like to get a good used unit locally (if possible North Alabama) that is 4 stroke. As far as engine size, I'm really not too sure. My wife is all about getting a 47cc 2 stroke, that will be too small in my opinion in 2 or 3 years. He'd look like a duck riding a june bug. I'm thinking maybe a 70, 80, or 90 possibly even a 110? I've been doing some looking around on the internet and from the looks of it, most if not all of them have speed goveners on them and a kill switch right?? I want him to be safe and have the ability to grow with this 4 wheeler as he gets older. My question is, What are some good brands? (I know of Kymco, Eton. What size Engine would you recommend? Any things I should be on the look-out for or to avoid? Any input will be greatly appreciated.

WOW that is a big boy.. Anyway I just had my 4yr old jump on a new Yamaha 80 and she was ready to go. It is a nice compact unit.. I really liked the looks of it.

An LT80 06 and older is gonna be a 2 stroke, but i it's a good starter, and can be modded to match his skills as he grows.

Well I appreciate all the input. The wife is backing out of the idea now. She's a natural worry wart and I want the kid to be able to ride and have fun rather than looking over his shoulder all the time wondering if Mom is watching. We may revisit this idea next year. I totally fine with it. He's got a Arctic Cat powerwheel that I took the governer off of when he was three, and it has a top speed of 5 MPH and he runs it around the yard like a IRL or NASCAR driver and does fine. Oh well I guess that's the natural instinct of a mother. Thanks again guys.
