My son has a 2004 Bombardier DS50 which has a Polaris 2-stroke motor. Was having problems starting when weather was cold. Had Carb. cleaned, gas additive, new spark plugs, changed type of 2-stroke oil. Still would start for a couple rides then back to the same BS. The problem is this Quad has Auto choke bad idea on a little motor. I found a Choke Conversion Kit from Polaris Part#2874547. Comes with Manual Choke cable which is adjustable, jet needles, seal, and a couple extra pieces that come in handy. Had local shop install the kit and now it starts right up and runs better than ever before. Gets more gas to solve the problem. For $32 including shipping it was a bargin.
