Quad sat for a 2 months without starting it, battery was dead so I charged it. It cranked for a little bit and then it sounded like the starter locked up. It would no longer turn over, I thought the battery was completely dead. A few days pass and I remember I have a kick start lever for it, no luck it will not budge?? Is it possible that the starter is stuck in the engaged position?

 

Sounds like it is seized or otherwise locked up. Perhaps the cylinder filled with fuel while it sat. Check if it will turn over after you pull the plug.

 

Thanks, I will pull the plug and check. I checked the gas in the bowl and it is mixed correctly, do you think it could seize just from cranking it over 3 times for a max of 15-20 seconds?

 

Well, it could have a broken ring or something along those lines, but it does seem unlikely.
