Yeah I felt kinda bad spraying truck bed liner over these plastics.....they really were really good looking - all the stickers in tact too.

I would have gladly traded someone for some crappy plastic.....just was in to much of a hurry.

Project almost completed.

I have a seat cover coming in blue/black from eBay......once it shows Im going to try my hand at that.

Other then that....its done.

This morning before it got flogged and it was still clean.....it looked like this:

Then I added a headlight and tail light. We ride until and into the dark around here. I dont want someone to get rear ended or run someone over so I always scab a headlight/tail light on the little quads. This was made even easier by the fact that the original ignition switch was trashed so I used a Honda switch which happened to be a 3 position switch. So I have off - on - on with lights......perfect.

Here it is after being flogged.....but with its new headlight.

Truck bed liner looks good.....but it never cleans up well, the texture makes it look always dirty. Again, kids quad.....I dont care.

Today me and my girlfriend tried our hand at seat recovering. Armed with a eBay cover, a cheap air stapler from Menards and just a bit of patience we began.

Took me a few minutes to adjust the depth and air pressure just right.....at first I was blowing the staples clear thru the cover....oops.

I think it turned out well. Really made the old ATV look alot better for a mere $35 and an hour of our time.

Default Parts

[QUOTE=aaronrkelly;3023109]So my daughter has moved up from a 50cc Kazuma to her brothers modded LT80. He has moved from the LT80 up to a Honda TRX250.

I needed another mid-sized quad for my girlfriends kids to ride.....Im over at my mechanics and I see an unloved Yamaha Moto4 setting in the corner.

Story is this guy brings it in to get it running.....then cant pay the bill.

$450 and its mine.

Runs great....starts easy.....newer Yuasa battery.

The only problem is after it sets for a couple weeks it will smoke a little bit for a few minutes till it warms up. If its ridden often it doesnt do this. Im thinking leaky valve seals....but hey, its been setting for alot of years prior to this so it may come out of it....either way, a little smoking for a few minutes occasionally is NOT a big deal.

Thinking of going a few ways with it.

I just purchased this same atv, I'm running into problems finding parts to get it running, if you have any info on where I could get parts that would be great
