Default eton 50 carb jetting?

Hello, new member from NJ, excellent site! I have a 03 50 viper. i recently added a fmf pipe and just ordered a uni clamp on filter for carb. my question is do i really need to increase the main jet size on the carb because i did these 2 mods ? if i dont will i know theres a problem? it will most likely run lean right? i am new to this and have spent time researching this topic but wanna makesure before ordering the jet kit, i also have read that a clutch kit makes a world of difference on the 50's so this will most likely be added in the future. thanks to this site i have cut the green rev limiter wire on the cdi and gained some more power. Thanks

Welcome to the forums.
I'd run it and see how the plug looks. Hopefully a milk chocolate brown.
White= bigger main jet.
The air filter shouldn't make any difference in jetting.
As far as clutch kits, Most kits work better with a modded motor. It depends on what your looking to achieve. You can make it have a stall speed but you won't increase speed any by clutching.

Thanks lt80, I'll keep an eye on plug before I buy a jet kit. Do you know if i need a cover for the uni clamp on filter or will it be protected from dirt/ sand as is?My son doesn't race, he just turned 4 and out grew his 40cc eton rascal, so he now rides his brothers 50 viper and he now rides a 70 viper. We have some property with a track and endless trails here. thanks again

If it's a foam filter, with a good oiling, your good to go.
If it's a K&N style, you'll need a outerwears.
