Runs fine but won't "Pull" as in the quad seems to have no power with the wheels on tr ground?
Have you cleaned the carb after taking in all that water?

Motor revs but quad doesn't move. I just pulled clutch clover off and found some water maybe that was the cause. Will know more when I get it back together.

Sounds like a good start, that water sure wasn't helping anything
Try rolling the quad while it is running, then try giving it gas and see if it will take off.

Hopefully LT80 will chime in, the KFX80 is identical to the LT80, an he sure knows his stuff about these little quads.

With the belt cover off, try revving it up to make sure the front variator is expanding and grabbing the belt, could be the rollers got stuck when it rolled, or the belt is just that wet, even a little film of water will keep them from moving, but usually all it takes is a little revving to dry out the belt housing after you drain it and it will go again. But I would jack up the back tires and rev it up with the cover off to make sure the belt is being grabbed, without that, nothing will move.

Ordered a new gasket just waiting to put it back together. I'm sure the water was causing something to slip. I cut the clutch shoes down to 180 while I had it apart trying to get a little more low end out of it. The rollers appeared fine going to leave those in for now.

Saga for me continues... Put it back together and now sometimes clutch engages but mostly the motor revs and quad doesnt move. I noticed when I turn it off it (clutch) sounds like it's engaging at very low rpms. I pulled it back apart and ideas???

Also the belt was turning while motor was reving bit wheels weren't turning.

Jack........are you still sneaking into peoples garages and sabotaging their LT80s ?....stop doing that and let him fix it.......LOL.
But seriously...you say the front clutch is closing on the belt and turning it?, is the back clutch spinning up also? I don't know how the transmission is set up, but is it possible the shaft for the transmission is not turning? is there a key on the shaft that could have sheared so the secondary clutch is not turning it? If both front and back clutches are spinning up, and closing on the belt, and you can see the belt rising up in the sheaves as they close, it would have to be a problem of power getting to the transmission.
