Did not check this last night so never looked at the needle. I'll be in the garage tonight and check.

you are welcome, it's what this site is all about!! I cannot even say how much this site has helped me. I've got two LT80's and have rebuilt them both top to bottom with help from the members here.

So the needle said 36s on it? Most keihin needles say 3 letters. Like for example my Banshee uses CEL needles. This is what im talking about.
