Default 07 KFX50 aftermarket CDI?

Does anyone make a aftermarket cdi for a 07 kawasaki kfx 50cc atv? I'm trying to remove the rev limiter. Also, this thing seem like you have to rev it up alot before it starts moving. Is that normal on these machines?

Welcome to the forums.
Your stall speed question, this could be normal, at 50cc they need rpm's to get the power. You should do clutch maintenence to see if there is a problem.
As far as a CDI Look in the expert section. Airmobile101 has a sticky on the Kymco 50 and it addresses the CDI problem.. I'm pretty sure what you have is a Kymco.
FYI: Kymco's are rock solid machines.

I am thinking about buying this one and switch the wires on it to the kfx wiring. Since it has it's own harness, I don't have to mess with the bikes wiring. Am I on the right track? On Ebay- 6 Pins GY6 150cc 200cc 250cc DC Racing Performance CDI for ATV Go Kart Quad Bike

That's the kind of thing you need to ask Lynn Edwards. He's the electric guru.
