What is a 125 extreme typhoon youth race quad worth not running

 

I would pay about $200-$350 depending on the condition of it.

I have seen them sell locally for $800 running and in good condition.

 

Ok ya its not locked up its in almost new condition he said he just can't get it to fire up at all

 

If he thinks it is a cheap fix he will most likely come out ahead if he fixed it and then sold it.

How much does he want for it? Got any pictures?

 

I just picked it up and it fires up but then dies I got it for. 180 and he had title and spare keys and everything when he bought it he said he's just not mechanically inclined to mess with stuff

 

And he said he just doesn't know what's wrong with it never really messed with it

 

I think you can pick up a new engine for it for around $500. As long as the other parts are in good shape, you got a good deal.

 

So I got it to fire up it sounds like an ignition problem it starts up runs for few secs then dies every time

 

I've seen two different xtreme typhoons. One was being sold at pep boys, and the other was by a company out of PA, I think. Huge difference in the two. The ones from PA were real race ready quads. The ones pep boys had were chinese quads with nice plastic.
