Hi I'm not sure if this is the rite place to post this so here goes. I bought my kid a quad and can't seem to find much info on it. Only markings I can find on the quad itself say mz and nothing else. From what I googled I can't come up with any info on it either. Guy I bought it from said it was an 80cc but only thing that comes up are 50cc and 100cc online.I'm trying to figure out what model I have. It runs but I need to deff clean the carb. Its missing the battery and headlight I would like to find replacements but can't find any info. If any one can point me in the rite direction to info or a manual would be awesome thanks.

 

A quick look brought me back to this forum in 2009 that the motor was made by Cpi which I think bought the mz brand pre 2009. Post also said thought you might find parts through Martin power-sports. Hope this helps. Not real familiar with the Chinese brands. Also welcome to the forums.

Easiest thing to do is google the rough year and size and just look at the images. Once you find something close then you can start narrowing it down. The one im currently working on i actually found more info on FB as someone was selling the identical unit.

 

Ya have no idea the yr havnt been able to find a vin plate or anything o. The machine but havnt looked that hard yet either I have to pull the carb and clean it i think its gummed up runs good then dies starts rite back up but then dies again so well c I found a new carb on eBay for like $30 I might just buy it instead of messing with this one

 

Ok so cleaned the carb fresh gas and plug adjusted carb per a post on the other thread and still can't get it to run rite should I just buy a new carb any help would be great

 

did all the little holes get cleaned out in the jets? its easy to miss i cleaned a carb 5x before i noticed them.

 

Ya I blew out every hole in it I just ordered a carb from eBay any way
