Default 05 eton viper 90 clutch issues

Hey everyone. My daughter has a eton 90 05 I think 2 stroke. I've looked to no extent to figure out this problem. It has new top end new filter exhaust not clogged new rollers in clutch and a new belt will go on today.

Problem
Runs and idles great but it's not making power or speed. It takes off but kinda hesitates for a lil bit then goes on and goes. It does not have the top end speed it did either. Rpms are there but not speed or low end tq. This has gradually got worse. What should I look into to solve this. I honestly think it's clutch not motor related. No spitting or backfire or anything weird with motor. It revs like it should just losing it somewhere in the clutch.

Have you ever cleaned the carb? Sounds like the carb is out of tune or needs a good cleaning

Give the primary clutch ( variator ) a good cleaning, install the new rollers and belt and give it a try and use very very little grease on the rollers....very little, just enough to hold the rollers in place during assembly. It sounds like the clutch is not shifting out. You can place the bike on jack stands, place in gear, apply the throttle and see if the clutches are shifting.

The good thing about those clutchs is that you can hold the clutchs and no grease is needed. The splined crankshaft makes it easy.
Also you can check the rear clutch. Squeeze it with your hands to make sure the moving face is moving smoothly.
