Cool! Glad they are having fun!
Is there still a guy with a bad azz LT80 running around lil Sahara? I built a national motor for this guy for a pit bike to run up and down the side road. He had the cases polished to a chrome finish. It was sweet.

I like polished alum...but you need to keep up with it unless you top coat it...

I'm positive I heard that from the guy. It was very shiney when I had it here. I commented on it and he said that was roughed in.
He did polishing for a living I'm sure.

I'm not sure of any of the regulars to sand mountain. I've only been there twice. Last weekend and in '02. I did see another LT80 running around, but I wouldn't call it bad azz...it was just bad.

Hi Guys. Just checking back in. Got an email from the website which made me remember this group. Bike is still running great, although developing a little howling noise at either clutch area or bearing on rear axle, I'll have to troubleshoot it more one day. Top end and engine going strong. Don't ride as much anymore, but the 80's are still favorites! Thanks again for all the advice!

I crawled the forum a bit before posting. Seems like most of the same issues...hard start, cheap china kit, carb threads still prevail. Keep up with the good advice!
